Nonperturbative solution of supersymmetric theories with fundamental matter

Prof. John Hiller (University of Minnesota - Duluth)

Abstract

Recent work on the numerical solution of supersymmetric gauge theories that include fundamental matter will be described. The method used is supersymmetric discrete light-cone quantization (SDLCQ). Results from an application to N=1 supersymmetric QCD in 1+1 dimensions at large N_c will be presented. A dimensionally reduced Chern-Simons term is included to give the adjoint particles a mass without breaking the supersymmetry.
