How to send ascii mail from a PC

To prevent files opened on other platforms from showing MS formatting language, send ASCII files as follows.

Do

• Type your paper as you normally would.
• Selecting the entire file, copy and paste it into your email.
• If prompted by your mailer for the style, choose the option PLAIN.
• SEND.

Don't

• Send your paper as an attachment.
• If prompted by your mailer, choose Plain & Styled or Styled.

Non-ascii email for formatted paper.
