The college (MPS) will match grant or department funding (not conference funding) up to $800 to support faculty international travel to give an invited talk at a conference once every two years. Faculty seeking this match must send a letter to me before the conference, requesting the support and giving: (i) conference details with a letter of invitation or a published list of speakers, (ii) travel, local, and total cost estimates, (iii) dates of travel, (iv) source of funds the College is matching.
This program has been in place for many years, but it is not broadly advertised. Contacting one of the associate deans should find the correct one.
