Various Benchmarks
- R&D Expenditures vis-a-via
Benchmarks The comparison ranking is 2004 when OSU Fed R&D
expenditures jumped from 10th to 7th -- a ranking it has maintained,
altho Texas is gaining on us. The total R&D expenditures include private
funds (ours, states, industry, whatever) and is hard to track and surely
counts funds that get transferred to other universities.
- Graduate Students and Postdocs in
science, engineering and health sciences for benchmark institutions
In 2005, our benchmark ranks for gs and postdocs was 8th and 9th,
respecitively, rising to 6th and 7th in 2009.
- Historical STEM PhDs

area of topo-10 faculty productivity, license income, fulbright Awards/Appns.)
- Student indicators for benchmark
