Make postscipt file of total talk or paper. It must have
continuously numbered pages in postscript file. Check with
`grep Page: <file.ps>.'
Put postscript file in public_html directory where you keep other
talks and papers
Command: `~ntg/bin/scripts/slides2web.pl <file.ps>'
does the rest.
What slides2web.pl does.
The command
`~ntg/bin/scripts/slides2web.pl talk.ps '
creates a subdirectory called talk;
converts each page in talk.ps into a gif file called talk/talk_1.gif,
talk/talk_2.gif, etc. and corresponding .html files to put each
gif in a table (this is to make future placement options possible);
creates an html page called talk/talk.html (and linked to talk/index.html)
that has the frameset for the talk;
creates the talk/controls.html file and an appropriate icon subdirectory
with the basic (stripped down) control icons.
It takes a while to do each slide on campbell, but you can start looking
at the result once it's finished with the first slide.
Your comments and
suggestions are appreciated.
