Quiz Information
- Quizzes are given on Wednsedays in your Recitation classroom.
- Each quiz consists of 5 multiple choice questions, 4 points each for a total of 20 points.
- 2 or 3 of the quiz questions are similar to assigned home work problems or
conceptual questions discussed during recitation.
- Current week's WebAssign printout and what you wrote on to solve it is allowed.
- Other than the above, no text books or class notes are allowed.
- Bring a calculator, with the memory cleared.
Midterm Information
- The midterm exam will take place in your recitation rooms on Wednesday, April 23.
- The midterm will cover Chapters 18, 19, and 20 of Cutnell & Johnson.
- The midterm will contain 10 multiple-choice problems and 2 show-work problems.
- No text books or class notes are allowed.
- You will be provided with equations and constants on the cover page of the exam.
- Bring a calculator, with the memory cleared.

Final Information
- The final exam will take place in your recitation rooms on
- Monday, June 2, 2008 at 7:30 - 9:18 am for the 8:30 class.
- Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 9:30 - 11:18 am for the 9:30 class.
- The final exam will be comprehensive, but weighted more toward material covered since the midterm. (30% on chapters 18,19,20 and 70% on the later chapters plus waves)
- The final exam will have 35 multiple choice questions, 5 points each for a total of 175 points.
- The final exam is closed book, but you will be provided with an equation sheet.
- Bring a calculator, with the memory cleared.
