Much of the information in science is portrayed graphically. This is true of this, and every other part of the field. As such, it is important that you be able to see these pictures on your screen if this resource is to be useful at all.

There are many good browsers out there. I will only name two, since they are the ones with which I have the most experience.

Though I like Netscape better, and it doesn't cost all that much; Mosaic is free, and that's a major selling point.
