Public VAXcluster Printers

A number of printers, both local to Smith Lab and in remote locations,
are available to the VAXcluster.  Some printers are private, and should be
used only with the owner's permission.  The following printers are 
available to all users:

Laser printers, accessed with "LASER file.name", which will prompt for
appropriate configuration parameters for each printer:

     SMITH1021             HP LaserJet 4siMX in Smith Lab 1021
     SMITH2097             HP LaserJet 5siMX in Smith Lab 2097
     SMITH4035             HP LaserJet 4siMX in Smith Lab 4035
     SMITH4035C            Tektronix Phaser 350 (color) in Smith Lab 4035
     SMITH4144             HP LaserJet 5M in Smith Lab 4144

The computer staff will help you use these printers, and any private printers
for which you have the owner's permission.  In addition to printers in
Smith Lab, printers at the Van de Graaf Lab are accessible; please ask the 
staff for assistance.
