      This directory contains user documentation and policies for the
Physics Computer Facility at The Ohio State University (PCF).  It is 
accessible from all our systems:

      On UNIX, it is /net/ohstpy/public/pcf
      On VMS, it is DEV$PUBLIC:[PCF]
      Via anonymous FTP, connect to ohstpy.mps.ohio-state.edu
          and cd to "pcf"

This directory contains several groups of documents:

 General documents:

   PCF-REQUEST.PS                         PCF service request.

 Network documents:

   CICNET-POLICY.TXT                      Policy of CICnet (midwest network)

   OARNET-POLICY.TXT                      Policy of OARnet (Ohio network)
   SONNET-POLICY.PS                       Policy of SONNET (OSU network)

   Your path to any Ohio State site traverses SONNET; your path to an
   Internet site elsewhere in Ohio traverses SONNET and OARnet; your path
   to an Internet site in the Big Ten Universities traverses SONNET and
   CICnet; your path to the remainder of the Internet traverses SONNET,
   CICnet, and the NSFnet.  You are bound by the policies of all networks
   you traverse in your work.

 Files ending in ".TXT" are ASCII text, and may be printed on any printer
      or viewed on any terminal/window.
 Files ending in ".PS" are PostScript, and must be printed on a PostScript
      laser printer or viewed on a PostScript viewer.
