I'm a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics of the Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, USA.

My research is focussed on finding ways of accurate shape measurements for weak gravitational lensing purposes, both cluster lensing and cosmic shear. I'm also interested in the physics of galaxy clusters, in particular their formation history and its relation to cosmology.
I'm a member of the CLASH collaboration, of the Dark Energy Survey collaboration, and supported by the U.S. Department of Energy.

One of my latest projects is the website PaperRater.org, where you can rate and comment papers appearing on arXiv or in scientific journals.

Apart from that, I

• practice Aikido
• play a five-string bass
• enjoy listening to good music, may it be Jazz, Funk, Rock, Blues or Classics,
• like to ride my line, either on a bike, on skis or on a windsurf board.
