Grading: There will be 2 midterms and a final. The homeworks carry 20% of the grade, the midterms carry 20% each, and the final carries 40%.

Homework graders: R. Laha, K. Zhang

Note: Homeworks should be handed in to the front desk in the PRB office. They should NOT be put in the grader's mailbox or my mailbox. This is a policy of the Physics department for all large courses.

Office hours: The hour after class each class day is office hours. If you cannot come at this time, you can make an appointment for another time.


Final Exam: Mon Dec 7, 2009, 7.30 am - 9.18 am

Note 1: The second midterm will be held on Wednesday November 18, in class (8.30-9.18). The material will be chapter 3. There will be one problem on method of images, and one problem on boundary value problems.

Note 2: There will be an extra class on Tue Nov 17, 8.30-9.18 in the usual classroom. We will review the method of images. (Those who cannot attend can ask questions during office hours etc.)
