OLD early studies with the slow simulator to get 2-track efficiency
- This next is just a sanity check that my two-track cut routine (that does
helical tracking in the HBT code to make sure there are enough
distinguishable hits) is at least not crazy-- it has the right sign
and magnitude of curvature. Good
thing we saved those hits!
(by the way, this is just a random Au+Ag pass1 file with hits
I had around... the vertex position is only approximate).
Here it is in the bend plane. (red=all hits, green=pion of interest,
black=what my 2-track helix guy is doing)
Here it is in the non-bend plane. (green=pion of interest,
red=what my 2-track helix guy is doing)
And here come two more examples....
Nice to know this for "calibrating" yourself:
The pion momentum here is (-0.537, 0.214, 1.94) GeV/c.
The pion momentum here is (-0.172, 0.024, 0.195) GeV/c.
