My current research involves using the abundant new data available on the cosmic microwave background (CMB) from sources such as BOOMERanG, DASI, MAXIMA, the VSA, ACBAR, and the CBI to place constraints on the ionization history of the universe. My Ph.D. candidacy exam (which served as my Master's Thesis) was on this subject and can be viewed here. My dissertation will also be on this subject, and I hope to produce a paper or two suitable for publication sometime in the near future.
