You can do this from computer room 1011 Smith -- inside undergraduate
physics lounge (be polite to those whose space you are usurping).
Or you can do this in 2097 Smith - the same room as the color printer.
Use only those transparencies that are already in the color printer.
Others for a laser-jet printer will clog the printer and bring down the
wraith of ... .
If the color printer runs out of transparencies and/or you need
additional transparencies contact Michael Wells (2-7331) or Tom
Barrett(2-8065).
Find a free computer using MS windows. Login.
Insert your "memory stick" and make sure computer has recognized
it for printing.
Follow these steps to add the color printer in 2097 Smith:
Get a login on the Physics Windows domain. Alternatively, use your
own computer connected to the Physics LAN.
Start the Add Printer Wizard, and
select A network printer,...
In the Specify a Printer window,
select Connect to this printer...,
and for the name,
use the \\phypcs\smith2097c
Click through to finish the wizard.
Follow these steps to print your transparencies on the color printer
Remember to insert your "memory stick" and make sure
computer has recognized it for printing in Smith 2097:
Select File -> Print
Make sure that you are printing to smith2097c not to the black
and white printer in that room, and
confirm that Color/grayscale is set to Color

For Paper Source,
select Transparency, then
hit OK twice
Now retrieve transparency from Smith 2097; color printer is "pink" and
