Install Instructions for hspice and cadence:

We keep the files in /data2:
  /data2/synopsys.tar.bz2
  /data2/ic5033.tar.bz2

tar -xjf /data2/synopsys.tar.bz2
cd /opt
mv /data2/setup_ic50.csh .
tar -xjf /data2/ic5033.tar.bz2

source setup_ic50.csh

To test hspice run make sure you use csh
I edit .cshrc to include the line source /opt/setup_ic50.csh
Also make sure your monitor is set to 24 bit color
The execute the following

tcsh
hspice /data2/hspice_test/newtest_10min.sp -o

You can also run with the multi thread flags -mt 1
                                             -mt 2
                                             -mt 3
                                             -mt 4


To run cadence execute the following:

tcsh
icfb
