Your work in the course will be evaluated on the basis described below:

Evaluation:
	Attendance		20%
	Participation		40%
	One Short (1-page) Paper		20%
	Final Hologram		20%

Attendance (20%): Attendance at all lectures is required. More than 3 unexcused absences will adversely affect your grade.

Participation (40%): Your contribution to the class discussion during the quarter is important to making the class interesting and informative.

Short Paper (20%): Papers will be based on the ideas being discussed throughout the quarter.

Final Hologram (20%): The final hologram must be presented for critique during the last class meeting.
