Research Interests
In recent years there has been tremendous progress in the fabrication of low-dimensional systems such as quantum wells, wires, and dots. While many features of these systems have been successfully explained, they continue to display fascinating properties that cannot be understood within existing theories - the main reason being strong interaction and disorder effects in combination with the reduced dimensionality. While the focus of my research is MESOSCOPIC PHYSICS, my interests also span superconductivity and quantum critical phenomena.
