Please take notice that the Physics department is in Smith LAB in between West 18th and 19th Aves., not in Smith Hall which is further south on W 11th Ave.
Lane Avenue Bridge Closed - If you are driving to campus, especially to the Holiday Inn on campus, please be aware that the Lane Ave. bridge across the Olentangy River will be closed for most, if not all, of 2003 (possibly into 2004). Therefore, you should contact your hotel or a Columbus person to help you with directions.
Holiday InnIf you have reservations at the Holiday Inn on Lane (328 W. Lane Ave.) you can give them a call from the information desk at the airport. They have a courtesy van and can pick you up. In any case, their phone # is 614-294-4848. If you stay at the Holiday Inn hotel, you may ask them for a map and directions. It is a 5 min walk. Our complete address is

If the Holiday Inn is full, then you might be booked in the University Plaza (614)267-7461 (toll free: (877)677-5292) or the Victorian Village Bed and Breakfast (614)299-1656. The University Plaza will send a van to pick you up at Columbus airport if you arrive between 7am and 10pm; call their toll free number when you arrive. They will also drive you to the University and the airport if you request in advance at the front desk.
