I will argue that the strong CP problem and the properties of axions in string theory gives rise to the expectation for the plenitude of ultra-light axion-like particles and massless vector fields accompanied by the weak scale superpartners. I will explain how these particles may be discovered by forthcoming cosmological and astrophysical probes and at the LHC.
