Soft mass parameters in anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking.

Abstract

I discuss the decoupling of intermediate mass thresholds in the anomaly mediated SUSY breaking (AMSB) scenario. The non-decoupling contributions can arise in the presence of light moduli or as higher order (in SUSY breaking) corrections. I use the moduli mechanism to generate realistic mass spectrum in an asymptotically free GUT model with a dynamically generated unification scale. I also construct a mechanism for solving the mu-problem.
