The matrix theory of the M theory on pp wave is explored. After a brief summery of the subject, the physics on longitudinal M5 branes are discussed. This would be a nontrivial twist of the matrix description of D0-D4 system. Also the physics of less supersymmetric pp wave background is described. Here we found the superysmmetry can be broken quantum mechanically.
