The polarizations of prompt J/ψ and inclusive Υ(nS) at the Fermilab Tevatron is calculated within the nonrelativistic QCD factorization framework. The result for the polarization of Υ(1S) is consistent with a recent measurement by the CDF Collaboration while that of prompt J/ψ disagrees with the CDF data in the highest PT bin. We predict that Υ(nS) states are transversely polarized in higher PT bin which could be probed in Run II of the Tevatron.
