Factorization properties of QCD amplitudes in the high-energy and collinear limit

Abstract

I discuss some new results concerning the general properties of QCD amplitudes in particular kinematical limits. These are relevant to the calculation of cross sections beyond NLO accuracy either at fixed order or through a resummation \`a la BFKL. Moreover, I show how a new colour decomposition which naturally arises in these limits, it is found to be a universal property of gluon amplitudes at tree and at 1-loop level.
