The ANtarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA) Neutrino
detector is designed to detect the broadband radio impulse created by
ultra high energy neutrino interactions in the Antarctic ice. ANITA 1
completed a 35 day mission in the Austral Summer of 2006-2007, and
ANITA 2 completed its 30 day mission on January 20, 2009.
ANITA has been in the news lately for our magnetic
monopole limits
and our
cosmic ray measurements .
My
presentation at the 2009 Moriond conference on Very High Energy
Phenomena in the Universe, An
Introduction to the ANITA experiment, was given in La Thuile,
Italy, February 5, 2009. If you are a collaborator, you can view internal documents.
