The following links contain information about the Dr. Gramila's 8:30 midterm exam.

The midterm exam will consist of both multiple choice questions and two problems which can be worked out in detail that are eligible for partial credit.  You must justify and show your work to earn credit for the partial credit problems.  The multiple choice problems will include both computational as well as conceptual questions.

The exam will cover all topics up to and including the lecture of April 26. It covers all conceptual questions and recitation work related to those lectures, up to and including the homework which is due May 1st.

A suggested approach for preparing for the exam would be to make sure you understand and can work all of the HW problems, the conceptual question, the demo problems and groupwork. All material discussed in lecture is valuable for review as well.

The equation sheet and cover page are included for your reference, DO NOT BRING THEM TO THE EXAM! They are exact copies of the pages which WILL BE INCLUDED in the exam you will receive in recitation.

You are only permitted to use a calculator on the exam.  Please remember to bring your student ID to the exam.
