Fabrication of multilayers and patterned structures
Using ultra-high-vacuum (UHV) fabrication system together with lithography and focused ion beam technique to fabricate a large variety of metallic and oxide materials in thin films and patterned structures.

Spin transport in semiconductor nanowires
Spin injection, spin diffusion, and spin detection, in single-crystal semiconductor nanowire devices using nanowire LEDs and nanowire spin valves.
