Research Interests:

• Complex Oxide Epitaxial Films and Multilayers
  Using ultra-high-vacuum (UHV) sputtering system to fabricate a variety of complex oxide films, including half-metallic double perovskite epitaxial films for magneto-electronic applications. The UHV environment down to 4 x 10^-10 Torr, precise control of sputter gas pressure, O₂ compatible sample heater up to 1000 ^oC, and a number of growth geometries enable the fabrication of high quality oxide epitaxial films and multilayers.
  
• Spin Dynamics and Spin Transport in Semiconductor Nanowires
  Spin relaxation, injection, spin diffusion, and spin detection, in single-crystal semiconductor nanowires using prototype nanowire devices and dielectric matching.
  
• Fabrication of Multilayers and Patterned Structures
  Using UHV sputtering system together with lithography and focused ion beam technique to fabricate a large variety of metallic materials in thin films and patterned structures for superconducting and magnetic studies.
