This course is designed for first-year graduate students and advanced undergraduates. Topics include angular momentum, central force motion, scattering theory, spinors, and addition of angular momenta systems. Homework assignments will be handed out weekly and graded. The grading will be apportioned as follows: 25% (homeworks), 30% (midterm), 45% (final). A detailed schedule of lectures can be found in the syllabus.
