Radiation Tests of Anode LCT Board (384 channel)

 The SEU crossection for the main FPGA (Altera20k) measured is 2.3*10**(-9) cm**2, 
corresponding to SEU rate of about 1 in 3 hours per board at full LHC luminosity. 
The ALCT-2000 prototype contains five Altera20K chips. Detailed results of all COTS on the 
ALCT-2000 board from a test done in summer of 2000 are shown here.

 The redesigned ALCT-2001 uses XILINX Virtex XCV600E (384 ch) or XCV1000E (672 ch) FPGA's.
There is only one FPGA per board. The SEU crossection for this chip was measured in 2001 and 
found to be 2.1*10**(-9) cm**2.  The overall reduction of SEU rate per ALCT board is 
about a factor of 5.
