1. The FPGA design files can be found at here.  The larger version number means later version.

cntl4_vn_rm.svf:
DAQMB Controller FPGA design, version n, revision m.  Download it to ~fastclean/data/daqmb_config/mthb_cprom/  directory.  Make sure the file size is no more than 2 bytes different from 812084.

vme4_vn_rm.svf:
DAQMB VME interface FPGA design, version n, revision m.  Download it to ~fastclean/data/daqmb_config/mthb_vprom directory.  Make sure the file size os no more than 2 bytes different from 752648.

cfeb_vn_rm.svf:
CFEB FPGA design, version n, revision m.  Download it to ~fastclean/data/daqmb_config/feb_prom/ directory.  The file size should be 350415 (no more than 2 bytes different).

daqmb_config_nnnn:
DAQMB configuration file version nnnn.  This file contains delay setting, and geometry parameters.  Download this file to ~fastclean/data/daqmb_config/ directory.

All these files are ASC files.  The latest version designs are recommended.

2. Update the FPGA firmware in CFEB_CONTROL software:

Update the DAQMB VME interface FPGA:
Menu bars: Config --> Load Proms --> Load/Prg MB --> Load VME ISPROM(emergency), or
                  Config --> Load Proms --> Load/Prg MB --> Load VME ISPROM.  Then you can choose the SVF file to download.
Update the DAQMB Controller FPGA:
Menu bars Config --> Load Proms --> Load/Prg MB --> Load CNTRL ISPROM.  Then you can choose the SVF file to download.
Update the CFEB Controller FPGA:
Menu bars Config --> Load Proms --> Load/Prg FEB's --> FEBn: Load ISPROM (n represents which CFEBs).  Then choose the SVF file to download.  If you need update several CFEBs, you have to do one by one.

These steps only update the ISPROM.  You need Config --> Setup --> Program  All (BCKPLN) to load the FPGA by the updated ISPROM.  For the system running with the updated firmware, you also need Config --> Setup --> Resets All (BCKPLN), and Config --> Setup --> Full Setup.  Everytime you do a 'Program All', you need do 'Reset All', and followed by 'Full Setup').
