Homework:

You are encouraged to work together to solve homework problems, but your solutions should be written up independently.

The problem sets assigned each week are posted on the course home page. (You are reading the course info page). 

The homework should be handed in on in class on the due date, which will usually be a Friday. 

(If you can't attend the class, leave your homework under the door of my office before the end of class.)

Late homework will be assessed a 10% penalty if handed in later on the due date and an increasing penalty every additional day, unless other arrangements are made with the instructor in advance.

1st midterm:   Thursday, Sept 19, 6:30-8:30pm, Smith Lab 1005

2nd midterm:  Thursday, Oct 24,  6:30-8:30pm, Smith Lab 1005

Final exam:  Monday Dec 9, 10:00-11:45pm, McPherson Lab 2015
