Lectures: Smith Lab 1048

Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30--11:18 am

Homework:

Problem sets will be assigned each week and are due at the beginning of class on Thursday (10 points per problem).

(Late homework will not be accepted unless agreed upon by the instructor before the due date.)

Each student is required to present a homework problem in class on a Thursday once during the quarter (50 points).

Exams:

Midterm:  Thursday, Ocober 30, Smith Lab 1048 (in class)
Final:       Thursday, Dec 11, 9:30-11:18 am, Smith Lab 1048 (those who would like more time can start as early as 8:30am)

Grading:

Homework  [40%]

Midterm exam [20%]

Final exam [40%]
