Who
are we?
We are a member of the BABAR
collaboration
at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC).
We are involved in the
ongoing
data analysis effort in heavy flavor physics (b, c, and tau). We also
contributed to the design and
construction of the new barrel
muon detector and are
evaluating the use of diamond sensors in the radiation monitoring
system for the silicon vertex
detector. We also operate a large PC farm to produce Monte Carlo simulated events.
