Systemic Issues

3-1. What systemic changes could be made in the education system to reduce the resistance to incorporation of physics education research?

3-2. New methods of evaluation may be necessary if we change the way we teach. We could look at advances in assessment, evaluation, examination, and so on, and how they might impact physics education.

3-3. How could we give assistance to teachers whose time is limited by the need to be a part of a family, keep food on the table, and so on?

3-4. The fundamental economic problems of teachers and of their countries are such barriers that these need to be addressed.

3-5. Are economic and social conditions natural, or do we need to include them in our research?

3-6. What research has been done on cultural differences, sex differences, economic differences, preparation differences of teachers and students to see whether there is an effect? What effect(s)?
