The Grilly Undergraduate Summer Research Scholarship
The Ohio State University Department of Physics is pleased to announce the Grilly Undergraduate Summer Research Scholarship. This scholarship will support undergraduate
students pursuing research projects with an approved faculty sponsor during Summer.
Applicant Eligibility and Requirements:
Eligibility for this scholarship is limited to students currently enrolled at the Ohio State University as Undergraduate majors in Physics or Engineering Physics
Complete applications must include:
- A complete application form from the student
- A short abstract of the proposed project written by the student.
- A complete faculty endorsement form from the Physics faculty research sponsor
- A letter of support from the Physics faculty research sponsor
Award and Requirements of Successful Applicants:
The scholarship will provide a wage and benefits package worth up to $3000.00 in compensation for research work performed under the supervision of a supporting OSU Physics faculty member. $2000.00 will be supplied by the Grilly Scholarship. $1000.00 by the supporting faculty member.
All applicants must submit a short paper and poster documenting the major results of their project at the end of the program
