Physics 111 (5 credits) AND Physics 112 (5 credits) with a score of 5 Physics C and CE Test: Mechanics Test:
Physics 131 (5 credits) with a score of 4 or 5
Electricity and Magnetism Test:
Physics 132 (with a score of a 4 or 5)** AND an oral exam given by the department **This test score will transfer as General Credit until the student passes the oral exam given by Mike Ziegler (ziegler.2@osu.edu). Credit by ExaminationFor Physics 111, 112, or 113 credit by examination, contact the Office of Testing in the Registrar's Office. The Office of Testing will schedule the examination. The testing office number is 614-292-2241. A copy of the equation sheet can be provided by the testing office in advance of taking the test, but it is not allowed to be brought back into the testing room on test day. If a student is already enrolled in the course, the cutoff date for taking the credit by examination test is the first Friday of the quarter. For Physics 131, 132, or 133 credit by examination, contact the Office of Testing in the Registrar's Office. The Office of Testing will schedule the examination.
