Note that the Physics 131-132-133 credit by examination tests are usually given three times per quarter, in the second and seventh weeks, and as a final exam with a class at the end of a quarter. These exams are NOT intended to be taken when you are taking a course, but before you start a course. The only exception is the first exam of the quarter which can be taken by transfer students who have not had an earlier opportunity and by students currently in a course. However, those who pass and receive credit, will have missed two weeks of the next course. We do not give permission to attend a course when the prerequisites are missing.
