About the Organization
The Society of Women in Physics was founded in 2007 by female Physics and Engineering Physics Undergraduates. The organization was formed to encourage female students to pursue careers in the fields of science and technology and to network with students and faculty in those fields. Activities of the Society of Women in Physics include outreach projects such as tutuoring and hosting a summer camp for middle age school girls.Officers:
