Environment - Assisted Invariance, Ignorance, and Information in Quantum Physics

I shall discuss environment - assisted invariance (symmetry exhibited by correlated quantum states) and describe how it can be used to understand the nature of ignorance -- and, hence, the origin of probabilities -- in quantum physics.
