Ever since the beginning of history, humankind has been the benefactor of miracles of time. But at the same time people have been baffled by its mysteries. With space-time resolutions in the four dimensions of nature, new vistas are opening up in fundamental research, technology, and for new frontiers in medicine. In this lecture we will overview a brief history of time, from the wonders of calendars to the world of split-second, in a millionth of a billionth of a second, and highlight the diverse and rich benefits to humanity.
