A new physics building, to be built on the site of the old Welding Engineering building, is currently in the final design stages. The building will provide state-of-the art laboratory, office and conference space for the Physics Department. Groundbreaking is scheduled for late spring 2002, with construction taking about 2 years. Check back here for updated information as it becomes available.
