The Department of Physics held its 6th annual Open House for high school students who want to learn more about the physics and engineering physics programs at Ohio State on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 9:30 to 1:30 at Smith Lab on the OSU campus. The Open House featured a demonstration of "Things You Should Never, Ever Put in the Microwave Oven," as well as parallel sessions showing some of the opportunities for physics majors at Ohio State.
The visiting students, parents, and teachers then shared a free pizza lunch with OSU Physics faculty, students, and staff.
