Welcome back students!
Summer break has ended. Classes have begun. Welcome to all of our returning students and the 45 new graduate students, 21 incoming Engineering Physics majors, 53 incoming Arts and Sciences Physics majors, and the hundreds of other students studying physics.
The Physics Department has 54 faculty, approximately 60 postdoctoral researchers and research scientists, and a talented group of administrative, technical and facilities staff members who work together with our students to enable world-class teaching, research and outreach to be accomplished here and in locations around the world.
