Congratulations to Alex Mooney, a graduate student who recently received an American Heart Association Predoctoral Fellowship. This two-year fellowship provides a stipend and fee waiver to support research. Mr. Mooney will work on a project entitled, "A study of the influence of histone core post translational modifications on nucleosome positioning."
