3rd Annual Midwest Women in Physics Conference Hosted by The Ohio State University
The 3rd Annual Midwest Women in Physics Conference will be hosted by The Ohio State University Department of Physics January 15-17, 2010. The conference will bring together several successful female physicists and over 70 undergraduate women in physics to focus on the presence and scientific contributions of women in physics, and to provide undergraduate women with the opportunity to present their research and learn about career opportunities in physics. The conference will highlight undergraduate women researchers, allowing them the opportunity to present their research in oral and/or poster presentations. Guest speakers and sessions will present topics ranging from cutting-edge physics research to women's issues in industrial and academic careers.
