On Wednesday, November 5, faculty from the new Center for Emergent Materials (CEM) welcomed local Middle School Students for the annual Breakfast of Science Champions event. The students participated in a variety of physics demonstrations in the Vernier Commons led by Professors Jay Gupta, Tom Lemberger, Julia Meyer, Mohit Randeria, Fengyuan Yang, and CEM Director, Nitin Padture.
