Physics Professor Dongping Zhong Wins Sloan Research Fellowship
The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation offers research fellowships to the best and brightest young scientists from selected colleges and universities throughout the U.S. and Canada. In the decades since the first Sloan Research Fellowships were given, more than 35 recipients have gone on to win the Nobel Prize in their fields. This year's award winners - including Dongping Zhong - are outstanding scholars who are conducting "frontier" research in their fields.
