The official dedication of the Physics Research Building will take place on Wednesday, November 2 from 3-5 p.m. in the atrium and throughout the building. Faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to join the Department of Physics in celebrating the dedication. The dedication events will include lab tours, demonstrations of the videoconferencing facility and the “Physics of Toys,” a graduate student research poster display, refreshments, and remarks by University President Karen A. Holbrook, Frank Samuel from the Office of Science and Technology, Dean and Distinguished Professor of Mathematical and Physical Sciences Dr. Richard R. Freeman, Department of Physics Chair Dr. William Saam, alumnus Dr. Robert Nordstrom, graduate student Rebecca Weber, and Sigma Pi Sigma President Tony Vincent.
