A brute force approach to quantum computation
Gabriel Aeppli
NEC, Princeton, NJ
Conventional quantum computing attempts to reduce problems to a series of well-defined operations with quantum gates. Our experiments, based on a solid state which can be tuned continuously between quantum and classical regimes, suggest a different, brute force approach to the problem of quantum computation.
