What Does Bose-Einstein Condensation Do for Fundamental Physics?

Jason Ho

The Ohio State University

In the last few years, the research in Bose-Einstein Condensation has undergone rapid expansion, pulling together physicists from atomic physics, condensed matter physics, nuclear physics, high energy physics, and quantum computation. In this talk, I shall first give an overview of the field (the Ohio view) and then discuss some fundamental issues brought out by the recent developments.
