The Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) is a requirement for all chemical labs under the
regulations found in the OSHA Laboratory Standard 29 CFR 1910.1450. The Physics Department
follows the guidelines set forth from the University Environmental Health and Safety
Group (EHS) and provides a departmental level CHP. This department-level CHP can
be used as a start point for the creation of the lab-specific CHP. Click on the
