How do I find my meeting room?

All of the parallel and plenary sessions are in the Scott Laboratory building, and have room numbers like SOE#### or SON#####. Juniors' day and special sessions are being held in the Physics Research Building, and have room numbers like PRB####. The directions below assume you are starting from the north entrance of Scott Lab or the south entrance of the Physics Research Building. (Please use the included map to orient yourself.)

  • PRB 1080: This room is in the open air atrium immediately ahead of you. It is on your left (west), directly across from some tables and chairs.
  • PRB 4138: This room is on the fourth floor on the extreme north end of the building. Take the elevator on your left (west) up to the fourth floor. Exit the elevator, head west down the hallway, and take an immediate right (north). Room 4138 will be at the end of this long hallway.
  • SOE0001: Take the stairs on your right (west) down to the basement level and take a left (south). Room 0001 will be at the end of this hallway.

  • SON0050/SON0054: Take the stairs on your right (west) down to the basement level. Rooms 0050 and 0054 will be on the north wall.
  • What are the details of the reception?

The reception will be held at the Ohio Union, Wednesday (8/17), from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. We'll be dining in the Great Hall meeting room, on the ground floor, directly across from the information desk on the east side of the building. The venue closes at 8:15pm, so please be prepared to leave promptly.
